We are thrilled to share that our recent appearance at the Medina Square Farmers Market on June 17th was a resounding success with record-setting sales. As it was Father's Day weekend, we believe The Kraut Guy would be proud of our first market day. We extend heartfelt gratitude to all our customers whose support made it possible. We couldn't do what we do without you, and we sincerely appreciate each and every one of you! 💜
Following another week of sales that exceeded expectations on June 24th, we regret to inform you that some of your favorite products are currently out of stock. Traditional, Lemon Dill, and Jalapeño Cilantro sauerkraut are temporarily unavailable. However, we have batches of all of them fermenting, and we anticipate having Traditional and Lemon Dill ready by Saturday, July 8th, and Jalapeño Cilantro by Saturday, July 15th. Stay tuned for updates!
Don't worry, though! We will have an abundance of The Kraut Guy's favorite, Curtido, available this weekend. Curtido is a delicious fermented cabbage dish popular in El Salvador and other Central American countries. With its resemblance to sauerkraut, kimchi, or a tart coleslaw, it pairs wonderfully with bratwurst, hot dogs, and grilled sausages. We highly recommend it for all your grilling needs this weekend!
In addition to our beloved Curtido, we are excited to introduce a brand new product this Saturday: Vegan Kimchi! We've heard your requests, and we are proud to announce our trial batch of Vegan Kimchi made with Tamari and Kombu (kelp) instead of fish sauce. Prepare your taste buds for a delightful experience! 🥢

Your satisfaction is our top priority, and while we work hard to increase production to meet the unexpected surge in demand, we appreciate your understanding. Cody is currently looking for a part-time farm worker, so if you're interested in a rewarding role that offers flexible hours and the opportunity to grow good food for good people while staying fit, let us know!
